Building work is now complete on Windsor Mencap's new home 'The Hub' which will host a Grand Opening on Saturday 15th June 2019 from 1pm-5pm.

Our Guest of Honour Cllr. David Coppinger, Deputy Council Leader of Windsor and Maidenhead, will launch the opening ceremony at 2.30pm.

at the Castle View Retirement Village, Helston Lane, Windsor SL4 5GG

The Hub will continue to serve the learning difficulty community in Windsor.

    This year, the focus of National Mencap's Learning Disability Week was health - in particular promotion of their Treat Me Well Campaign. Healthwatch Bracknell Forest, Windsor, Ascot & Maidenhead decided to work together to support this campaign and find out more about how people with a learning disability are treated and supported when using hospital services.  Click here if you want to see the report

  • Medals Galore at Slough Games

  • Another Win for the Windsor Mencap Bowling Team

    Congratulations to John, Dougal, Abbie, Garry & Carlos who won the Gloucester Open Regional Bowling Competition on 7 June 2017.


  • Martin Wins Volunteer of the Year, 2016

    Congratulations to Martin Lyons who won Volunteer of the Year at the recent ceremony at Maidenhead Town Hall.  Martin was recognised for his work at United Voices and Windsor Mencap.  We're so proud of you Martin and thank you for everything you have done for us over many years.  You are truly inspiring  


  • Social Media Training with Three

    Huge thanks to the Discovery Team at Three in Maidenhead, who recently ran a training course for us.  We learnt about social media and how to stay safe online.  They were great at helping us understand about image sharing, permission settings and security in Facebook.
