Our Clubs

Tuesday.  "Toffee" Club. Totally Outings Fun Friendship Evenings Events

Currently a monthly social club for people with mild learning disabilities, who like to get out and about in the community.  The members and staff meet once a month to discuss and plan the places they want to visit and activities they would like to do. Members are then involved in the booking of activities.

We encourage our members to be independent, promoting individual decision making and choice. Everyone is valued and respected and all ideas are listened to and considered .  The staff and volunteers provide support to members, helping them to improve personal, life and social skills. Our members really enjoy getting out and about, meeting friends, developing interests and having fun.

Toffee group meeting on the last Tuesday of the month.  Recent trips have included theatre, cinema, bowling, BBQ, chocolate making and swimming.

A weekly club, with activities to suit everyone.

The evening begins at our clubhouse with refreshments and a catch up.  We put the music on and enjoy activities like arts and crafts, painting, flower arranging/planting, darts, snooker, table tennis. The final hour sees everyone involved in a chosen game or activity such as skittles, bowls or bingo.  We also invite regular visitors to teach belly dancing or barn dancing. Sometimes we go out to play skittles or bowls, go to the pub, theatre or for a walk.

Return transport is provided for our members

We are delighted to announce that the Friday club will now be held twice a month, due to popular demand.  It will now happen on the 1st and 3rd Friday of each month.

The primary focus will still be sporting activities, which will take place in our new home at Oakbridge, Windsor or out using community facilities.

Our members enjoy table tennis, darts, skittles and pool at our Windsor base.   We also enjoy getting out using community sports facilities as well as competing in local and national sporting events.  Sometimes we enjoy going out for a walk together or visiting the pub.
