Volunteering for Windsor Mencap.

Volunteering with Windsor Mencap is fun and rewarding and will give you a chance to get involved in your local community.  You will meet new people and develop new skills, whilst helping make a difference to the lives of people with a learning disability.

We are always looking for help and would love to hear from anyone keen to share their time and talents.

Could you:

  • Volunteer at our clubs nights or help with our buddy scheme activities?
  • Share a skill - IT, marketing, photography, dancing, music, cooking, gardening?
  • Help us run a creative project or workshop?
  • Help us run future events?
  • Help with fundraising?
  • Drive our minibus?
  • Offer other services?

Who can volunteer?

Anyone and everyone!!  Our volunteers include people of all ages, backgrounds and levels of experience. All you need is anWindsor Mencap open mind, plenty of energy, enthusiasm and a can-do attitude to join in with the rest of the team.

What skills do I need?

You will need to be friendly, reliable and patient, with good
communication and listening skills.  You will need to be able to work as
part of a team, and be fun and willing to join in with the club’s activities

How to get involved?

Get in touch for a friendly chat and to arrange meeting the team at one of our club nights.

We are always keen to hear from companies keen to support and partner local charities.
